Before embarking on her real estate career, Meg made significant contributions to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she served under the first five presidents of the university. As the executive assistant to the university’s President and Board of Visitors, Meg played a pivotal role in various special projects, including the design and development of the Stuart C. Siegel Center, the esteemed home of the VCU Rams.
In addition to her work at VCU, Meg is also the co-owner of St. Clair Homes, a residential building company she runs alongside her husband. Her hands-on experience in the home-building business has provided her with invaluable insights into the intricacies of construction, design, customer relations, and marketing.
Meg’s love for music, homes, and design, coupled with her fundraising expertise, led her to chair and co-chair two of the prestigious Richmond Symphony Designer Houses. These biennial events showcase the finest in residential design and serve as major fundraisers to support the Richmond Symphony.
